Looking for a white cot bed
We spent nearly two weeks looking for the perfect cot bed for our child. We were looking everywhere: at online shops, at furniture stores, at large shopping centres, at shops that specialised in baby accessories. We even checked at markets. But we could not find what we were looking for. We did not need a sophisticated bed made of heavy wood, with engraved patterns at both ends. We did not need a modern-looking bed made of aluminium and some strong fabrics, one of those easy to assemble, portable travel beds. What we needed was a simple cot mattress that could serve us well for many years. We wanted to get a cot that could be easily converted into a toddler bed. We might lower the slates or remove them and install a bed rail instead. We might also want to get rid of one of the sides of the cot and put it closer to our own bed. My husband thinks that co-sleeping might be dangerous for the child, but if our baby stays in his own bed, it"s not really risky, is it? Today we finally ordered a wonderful cot mattress bed. It"s simple, light, practical, ad inexpensive. It should arrive within a week, which is just in time because our son is going to be born in a couple of days. I hope that the bed will not come too late!
